Is this in the future? Or a different reality because it kept talking about things we don't have. It's odd how they talk about their feelings, and how they only have one for the whole day. All of them talked about a feeling that wasn't a good feeling
I really enjoyed the first chapter but I was wondering, they say something about not knowing about the word animals meaning???? I'm a little bit confused in why they don't? I'm not sure maybe I misheard but I'm just curious whether you find out later on.
in the book 'the giver' the author talks about communities,what is a community? i was also wondering; is this story set in the future? and, why do they call children sixes,sevens,elevens ?
